         Dear Stephen,
 
   I write this to Share with other Women a bit about DrFitness . I have known you now for five years as my Teacher and Friend.

I will never be able to thank you enough for introducing me to Body Design. Your devotion to excellence and positive thinking has changed my life forever.

Body Design is a program founded on your decades of experience with Equipment Design and Ergonomics. Add to this uncomparable insights into how our state of Muscle Strength influences the Balance of Power in our Relationships.

  When I first met you in 2000, I had been training with two of Mari Winsor's top pilates trainers,  both professional dancers,at Winsor Pilates for over four years. I was taking ballet classes, doing power yoga and working out with a personal trainer.I thought my body was pretty good looking, especially in clothes. The only exception to this was that in store fitting rooms with unforgiving lighting I would sometimes notice I wasn't in as great shape as I thought. But after I would buy clothes, the bad feelings from looking in the fitting room mirrors would go away; the clothes looked great and I turned my attention to other things.

    Until I saw myself in photos taken by you, I was living with an idea about how my Body looked   that was not related to all the facts. After reviewing the photos I began, in days that followed, to see things about my body that I had not noticed before such as looseness under the upper arms, the beginning of "old lady" arms.

    When we first met I was in the beginning of a divorce, and was basically in a process of being  tossed to the street with no finances to pay for a program. Because of your Insight and Positive Thinking, we were able to raise the money for my Program.

    Some of the things that have Proven True over these past Five years about       Body Design are as follows:

  1. That no boyfriend or husband would ever be able to take my Body Design Program away.

    Boyfriends and husbands usually go only so far to help financially. Many times in my experience men have threatened to take away things as a tactic to gain control.           My Program remains available (even on remote islands one can usually find some equipment),and no one will ever take it away.

  2. The training saves my body, where otherwise it will age against a backdrop of younger women.

There are men in my circle who glorify youth as the standard of beauty. To them, a girl of nineteen to say twenty-six is in her prime and this is what is hot. Never mind that  these men are well past the age of forty-five. But when I go to the gym, my  Body and I unite against twisted dogma. We stop the clock, build the dream and laugh at how men fool themselves and try to cheat the reality of their own aging bodies by passively identifying  the youthful appearence of young girls as testament to their manhood and virility. If I didn't have My Program, I would have to age in a way that would cause me to be victimized by an ideology that pigeonholes women. But when I train, what can they say because I prefer My Body to anyone elses.

  3. Body Design is like yoga.

 I do more yoga in the gym than I have ever done anywhere else.The Breath extends Naturally from each rep in a very Deep and Rhythmic way. Quite a cure! Between sets I often stretch and relax into poses by using the equipment in new ways. Also when I    train I go into a Meditative State.This never happened when I was chatting with a personal trainer or distracted by directions and commands in a class. My training is equivalent to a deep massage as well, from the inside out.

  4. It is better than drugs for depression.

Not only does my mood lift from training but everyone around me seems either happier,or if not at least their mood doesn't affect me negatively. The Program builds a Shield of Strength and Beauty,that provides immediate Immunity to Nastiness. And then if the shield goes down, back to the gym for another treatment!

  5. Body Design works better than pilates.

It has. I remember that my pilates coach went into the gym and weight trained when he wanted to get in shape for a photo shoot. He told me then that pilates can't make the kind of changes that weight training does. And this is what I also found.

           Aside from these few things, I also want to thank you for turning me on to what Yin and Yang really look like in Relationships.

Our relationship began in April 1994 when I noticed Stephen prowling around Better Bodies Cross-training Center. I became very interested in him, not only from visual esthetics, but Stephen had an aura that emanated from him. I approached him; we said hello, and it has been history ever since.
 


We started with my personal body design program. Stephen put countless hours and effort in designing a program specific for my musculoskeletal structure and specific for the aesthetic desires that I had. The end result was phenomenal. After only two weeks working with Stephen, I noticed nearly 100% improvement and increase in my strength. My body had changed significantly. I viewed it as almost a pure miracle. Once I saw the demonstrative effects of Stephen’s program, I knew that every one of my patients had to meet Stephen Hercy and he had to become a part of their lives.

I began sending , to Stephen, patients who suffered from scolioses, degenerative arthritis, and repetitive overuse injuries. The results were amazing. His program complemented my treatment programs so well, it really redefined the way that I practice chiropractic today. Working with Stephen and getting the incredible results that we had, prompted me to change the name of my chiropractic center to Synthesis, which means taking two or more elements and combining them to form a single compound.

  I have had the distinct pleasure of having Stephen Hercy as my personal body designer for the past six months. Now, as I reflect on (and surpass) all of my personal fitness goals, I welcome this opportunity to provide a recommendation on his behalf.

Throughout my association with Stephen, he has been an integral part of my fitness game plan. His personal caring and follow-up have been exemplary. He has provided timely, accurate and insightful analyses of my fitness and nutritional needs.

As the result of a serious automobile accident fifteen years ago, I have suffered from severe back, neck and joint pain. Being Dr. Armand Hammer’s granddaughter, I have always had access to the finest doctors in the country. Nevertheless, numerous cortisone injections, acupuncture treatments, and heavy medications of anti-inflammatory drugs, muscle-relaxers and pain-killers have not sufficed.

For over five years, I have been working out with personal fitness trainers at various clubs. The results were minimal: minor pain relief, minor strength gain. That’s when a friend recommended that I enlist Stephen’s help. Stephen designed a program especially for me and my personal fitness/nutritional needs. "Stephen Hercy woke up my true power--a power that I never knew existed."

After going to Bally’s Holiday Spa for years and training without any system, I thought that this was the best there was for me. But I always wondered if there was anybody who could suggest or offer a program that would fill my gaps in physical training. Who could have guessed that years later I would find a person that carried all the information, techniques and answers that I have searched for for so long!

Stephen Hercy is a true designer in my eyes. With one glance at the person, he can recognize their striving ability. There are no exceptions: he can do this regardless of a person’s age, status or sex. He is not a personal trainer; he’s a designer of a system that analyzes one’s physical condition and abilities to lift weights to build strength and stamina.

The program that he created for me is like a recipe and a manual for a better, stronger and healthier body for the rest of my life. I have avoided high-priced personal trainers that, in my opinion, had no skill to work with my particular body. But Stephen Hercy has created a powerful formula that I follow every time I go to train. I’m 5’1” and have had problems relating myself to exercise machines because of their standard size. Stephen chose machines in which I could perform my exercises with the most comfort, and that is the key to a pleasant workout. Stephen’s program has changed my body in a very short time. Weight training has become my hobby and a pleasant routine.

As a result of a car accident, I’ve constantly experienced back and neck pain. Stephen included many exercises in the program that would rehabilitate these injuries. People often ask me what’s new in my life. I tell them “A lot, since I started this powerful program.” I feel better than I’ve felt in all the years of my life.
